South Sudan Holds National Prisons Services Development committee seminar in Juba

South Sudan National Prisons Services (SSNPS), with logistical support from UNMISS Rule of Law and Security Institutions Support Office, held its third National Prison Service Development Committee Seminar at the Juba Grand Hotel today. The seminar focused on the theme ""Strategies to Attaining a Humane and Accountable Prison System in South Sudan - The Role of Paralegals, Community Service and Probation Service"".
Hilde Johnson, Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the UN Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS), commends the government's efforts during the SSNPS seminar.
