Second Agricultural Trade Fair of South Sudan Emphasizes Food and Human Security

Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Sudan, cuts the ribbon to launch the country's Second Agricultural Trade Fair which took place at the Nyakuran Cultural Center in Juba, from the 27th-30th of November, 2012.
This year's event focused on Food and Human Security and brought together agriculture stakeholders such as individual farmers, different farmer groups, farmer unions, cooperatives, local and foreign investors, private agricultural companies and farmers and agribusiness people from the ten states of South Sudan, as well as Government agencies, NGO's and international donors to devise means and ways to further realize the huge agricultural potential of South Sudan.
