Security Council Considers Situation in Syria
"The Security Council voted on two different draft resolutions presented by China and the Russian Federation, as well as Belgium, Germany and Kuwait respectively, regarding the situation in Idlib in the Syrian Arab Republic. The first draft resolution was not adopted as it failed to obtain the required number of votes. The second draft resolution was not adopted due to the vote against by China and the Russian Federation, permanent members of the Council.
