Secretary-General Hosts Reception on Occasion of Timor-Leste's Admittance to United Nations

Secretary-General Kofi Annan (right) speaks with Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, at a reception today to mark the occasion of the admittance of Timor-Leste to the United Nations. Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Timor-Leste José Ramos-Horta (left) and Prime Minister Mari Alkatiri (centre) were present for the event.
