Malta Ratifies Rome Statue of International Criminal Court
Malta became the 85th State Party to the Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court, when the Permanent Representative of Malta to the United deposited the necessary instrument of Ratification at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Rome Statue was adopted, by the United Nations Diplomatic Conference of Plenipotentiaries on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court at the Food and Agriculture Organization Headquarters in Rome on the 17th July 1998. The Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court entered into force on 1st July 2002.
