UN Forum on Indigenous Issues Opens 11th Annual Session

Bienvenu Okiemy, Minister of Communications and Relations with the Parliament of the Republic of the Congo, speaks at the opening of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII)'s eleventh session. The session this year emphasizes the theme, "The Doctrine of Discovery: Its Enduring Impact on Indigenous Peoples and the Right to Redress for Past Conquests".
