First of Thousands of South Sudanese Stranded in Sudan Arrive in Juba

The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) provides transport for a group of South Sudanese returnees after their arrival in Juba today. The returnees among the first of 12,000 to be airlifted and received, thanks to joint efforts by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), UN and other humanitarian agencies, after having spent many months stranded in the city of Kosti in neighbouring Sudan.
