First of Thousands of South Sudanese Stranded in Sudan Arrive in Juba

A Red Cross worker assists a South Sudanese returnee arriving in Juba today. She is one of the first among 12,000 returnees to be airlifted and received, thanks to joint efforts by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), UN and other humanitarian agencies, after having spent many months stranded in the city of Kosti in neighbouring Sudan.
