MONUSCO Force Commander Meets with Displaced Locals in North Kivu

Lieutenant General Chander Prakash (right, blue beret), Force Commander of the UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO), talks to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the local population during an evaluation mission to the area after heavy gun fights took place between Government FARDC forces and the Mai-Mai Cheka militia in Bunyampuli, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)'s North Kivu province.
