UNMISS and UNODC Support Juba Prison Sewing Project

The Corrections Advisory section at the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) collaborated with the UN Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service to hold a two week sewing training for female prisoners. 800 uniforms were sewed during the project, supplying prisoners with two sets each as well as building their sewing skills and enabling officers to provide the training again in the future.
