Côte d'Ivoire, Liberia, UNMIL and UNOCI Hold Quadripartite Meeting in Abidjan

Leaders from the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL), the UN Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) and representatives from the Governments of Liberia and Côte d'Ivoire hold a quadripartite meeting to address the fragile situation along the border in the light of recent attacks, including reinforcement of their presence on both sides of the border, intensified air and foot patrols and activities to protect civilians, while taking steps to strengthen relations between their respective security forces and the population.
