General Assembly Adopts Resolution Calling for End of Violence in Syria

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon addresses the Assembly's meeting on the conflict in Syria. The General Assembly adopted a resolution condemning the increasing use of heavy weapons by Syrian authorities and urging all sides of the conflict to immediately cease armed violence.
