Over a Quarter Million Displaced by Violence in North Kivu

A boy with a cart rides down the street at the Kanyaruchinya internally displaced persons camp in Goma. Behind him, peacekeepers from the UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) provide security for the camp. More than 270,000 people that have been displaced from their homes by violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo's (DRC) North Kivu province.
