Security Council Condemns Attack on UNAMID

Gérard Araud, Permanent Representative of France to the UN and President of the Security Council for the month of August, delivers to the media a Council press statement condemning an attack on a community police centre of the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID). A peacekeeper was killed and another injured in the attack, which took place in Nyala, South Darfur.
