Winners of UNAMID-UNICEF "Eyes of Darfur" Project

Mustafa Alfadi Attaib, twelve years old, poses with his friends at Al Migdad Primary School for Boys in El Fasher, North Darfur, and holds up his winning photograph, selected as part of the "Eyes of Darfur" project. Co-sponsored by the African Union-UN Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) and the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF), the project gave cameras to 700 El Fasher schoolchildren and picked the 30 best images out of a total of 15,000.
