Staff Members in Timor-Leste Celebrate UN Day

Every year on 24 October the UN family celebrates UN Day to commemorate the signing of the UN Charter and the world's commitment to fostering peace. UN Day falls within UN Week, 20 to 26 October, when UN organizations and supporters around the world work to increase awareness of the UN's contributions.
This year the UN mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT) planned 3 events that ranged from formal and informative to fun and festive.
