AMISOM Deputy Head of Mission and Deputy Force Commander Hold Joint Press Conference

AMISOM today announced it will be spending over $4.5 million on a series of projects to improve security and the lives of Somali civilians, which will include the construction of a school, supply of generators for Banadir Hospital, equipment and supplies for Somali police stations, the installation of water treatment facilities to provide clean drinking water to 1.3 million people and the rehabilitation of the Somali Parliament and Ministry of Labour buildings.
