Head of UN Peacekeeping Visits Liberia

Hervé Ladsous (centre) Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations and Head of the UN's peackeeping department (DPKO), accompanied by Acting Special Representative of the Secretary General, Moustapha Soumare, held discussions with Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (right) on Thursday, 12 April, 2012 in the capital Monrovia. Mr. Ladsous is on a five-day visit to Liberia to assess the UN's peacekeeping operations in the West Africa country.
