Head of UN Peacekeeping Visits Liberia

UNOPS Country Representative, Lakis Papastavrou (left) shows Hervé Ladsous, Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations and Head of the UN's peackeeping department (DPKO), a lightweight but strong type of brick being made and used on site during a tour of the various buildings at the Gbargna Peace Hub. It is one of five such facilities being built around the country to support peace and justice in Liberia.
