UNSG Panel on Referenda in Sudan visits Juba

Benjamin Mkapa, Chair of the Secretary-General's Panel on Referenda in Sudan and former President of Tanzania, arrives at the offices of the Sudanese Network for Democratic Elections (SUNDE). The Panel is meeting with Sudanese domestic observer groups during their final visit to the country ahead of scheduled 9 January 2011 referendum on whether Southern Sudan will split to form the world's newest nation.
