World Bee Day Observance at UNHQ

María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, President of the seventy-third session of the General Assembly, makes remarks during the observance of World Bee Day at UN Headquarters in New York.
The event, co-organized by the Permanent Mission of Slovenia and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), was convened with the intent to raise heightened awareness of the importance of pollinators, the threats they face and their contribution to sustainable development.
