Afghanistan Swears in New Parliamentarians

Women parliamentarians of the Afghan Lower House (Wolesi Jirga or "House of the People") arrive at their inauguration ceremony in Kabul, Afghanistan's second parliamentary inauguration since 2001. Women make up 69 of the 249 candidates elected to Afghan parliament on 18 September 2010.
