Cote d'Ivoire is one of 35 countries contributing police to the United Nations Mission for Justice Support in Haiti (MINUJUSTH). The Security Council established MINUJUSTH to further develop the Haitian National Police, to strengthen Haiti's rule of law institutions and to promote and protect human rights.
