Chair of UN Referenda Panel Meets President of Southern Sudan Government

Benjamin Mkapa (left), former President of Tanzania and Chair of the Secretary-General's Panel on the Referenda in Sudan, meets with Salva Kiir, President of the Government of Southern Sudan (GOSS), in the territory's capital, Juba. The meeting is part of the UN Panel's week-long tour of Southern Sudan to monitor preparations for the upcoming January 2011 referenda.
