In the second episode of Power Among Men, Haiti: The Merchant watches the first potato crop going off to market, the first evidence that the farmers of Fermathe have more than enough to eat. "If these people grow prosperous, they won't have to stay always in debt to him." With time, a cooperative is established, and a sense of true community; but we leave Fermathe knowing of the negative forces which threaten there, as in the world at large. [No exact date]
