Special Committee Against Apartheid Commemorates International Day of Solidarity with South African Women

The Special Committee against Apartheid today held a commemorative meeting to mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Struggle of Women in South Africa. During today's annual event representatives of the African National Congress of South Africa (ANC) and the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) called for an end to the violence in South Africa and for greater participation by women in the political process.
