UN Electoral Staff Assist Local Referendum Workers in Sudan

Staff members of the United Nations Integrated Referendum and Electoral Division (UNIRED) provide assistance during a three-day training workshop conducted by the Central Equatoria State Referendum High Committee in Juba, Sudan. The workshop is designed to provide classroom and practical training to county-level representatives ahead of the 9 January 2011 referenda which will determine whether the regions of Southern Sudan and Abyei remain part of the country.
