Security Council Considers Sudan and South Sudan

Mansour Al-Otaibi, Permanent Representative of Kuwait to the United Nations and President of the Security Council for the month of June, chairs the Security Council meeting on the situation in the Sudan and South Sudan.
The Security Council unanimously adopted resolution 2479 (2019) extending until 31 October 2019 the mandate of the African Union-United Nations Mission Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID).
