Sixth Session of the Governing Council of UNDP Opens in Vienna

The sixth session of the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) opened today in the Stadthalle, Vienna. The meeting will last until 28 June. The 37-member Council, representing both industrialized and developing nations, will review present UNDP activities and take decisions regarding future programmes and policies. An important item on the agenda will be consideration of a detailed report on the activities of the UNDP for 1967.
