Dag Hammarskjöld Funeral Service in Sweden

The coffin with the body of the late UN Secretary-General, Dag Hammarskjöld, arrives in the cemetery of Uppsala, followed by dignitaries from many lands.
A funeral service for Mr. Hammarskjöld was held this afternoon at the Cathedral in Uppsala, the ecclesiastical capital of Sweden and the place where Dag Hammarskjöld was raised.
Following the coffin are brothers Bo (front, with wife) and Sten Hammarskjöld (with daughter, Marlene), then Knut Hammarskjöld, a nephew, in front of the former Archbishop of Sweden, Erling Eidem.
A few paces behind, leading many overseas figures, are (abreast, from left) Mongi Slim, of Tunisia, President of the 16th General Assembly; Swedish Premier Tage Erlander and Foreign Minister Osten Unden; and Nathan Barnes, of Liberia, President of the Security Council.
