Secretary-General Visits Headquarters of Brazilian UNEF Battalion

U.N. Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjold, who arrived in Gaza an 23 December to spend Christmas with troops of the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF), today visited the Headquarters of the Brazilian UNEF Battalion at Rafah.
There is a photograph of Mr. Hammarskjold as he was leaving the Brazilian Chapel with Lt. Col. Ruy Cruz, Commanding Officer of the Battalion. The photograph was taken by UNEF Commander, Lt. Gen. E.L.M. Burns, who accompanied the Secretary-General on the visit. [Exact date unknown]
