Fisheries Developement in Panama

To ensure the national exploitation of the shrimp industry, one of the most important sources of revenue in Panama, a national fisheries research laboratory has been set up for specialized study of shrimp resources. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is assisting the Government in this programme.
