24th Session of the Economic and Social Council

The 24th session of the Economic and Social Council, which had for the first item on its agenda a review of the world economic situation, heard a statement from Mr. Gunnar Myrdal, Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Europe. Mr. Myrdal analyzed inflationary trends and productivity problems in
Europe, as well as European trade questions.
