Metinaro Internally Displaced Person Camp Closes in Timor-Leste

More than three years after families were forced to relocate here, fleeing nationwide violence that broke out in 2006, the camp is evacuating and its residents are returning home. The Timorese government and the IOM, a UN.-affiliated intergovernmental agency that works on managing migration and assisting migrants in need, will provide transport for the move.
