United Nations Correspondents' Association (UNCA) Holds Solemn Meeting for Alec Collett

Elaine Collett, wife of kidnapped correspondent Alec Collett, being greeted by Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar at a solemn meeting of the United Nations Correspondents' Association (UNCA) held for her husband. Mr. Collett, who is honorary President of UNCA, was kidnapped in Lebanon on 25 March 1985 while on a writing assignment for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
