Secretary-General Visits Ethiopia

Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar made an official visit to Ethiopia, 8-13 November 1984. After flying to drought-stricken areas of the country, he addressed the Summit Meeting of the Organization of African Unity in Addis Ababa and pledged the fullest United Nations support for all the drought-stricken countries of the continent.
