Secretary-General Visits Ethiopia

Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar made an official visit to Ethiopia, 8-13 November 1984. After flying to drought-stricken areas of the country, he addressed the Summit Meeting of the Organization of African Unity in Addis Ababa and pledged the fullest United Nations support for all the drought stricken countries of the continent.
