Dr. Ricardo Fournier, representative of Costa Rica, one of the newly elected Members of the United Nations Trusteeship Council, takes seat at the Council table for the first time, as the 12-nation body opens its Second Session.
On the left is Dr. Arturo Morales, Costa Rican alternate. One of the six major organs of the Unitid Nations, the Council deals with the administration and supervision of territories placed under the International Trusteeship System.
