FAO Nutrition Program in Europe

A joint FAO/WHO Committee on Child Nutrition convened in July 1947, to outline the principles of child feeding which have been followed closely by the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF). A FAO Nutrition Officer in Europe, who acts as Chief Nutrition Consultant to UNICEF in Europe, is visiting the countries where the program is operating to help with the development of the feeding programs.
