MINUSMA Increases Patrols in Central Mali

Peacekeepers from Senegal serving with the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) patrols sensitive areas in central Mali. MINUSMA has deployed Operation Oryx after recent events to increase protection of civilians through, among other things, increased patrols and mediation. This patrol took place from 4-5 July in the villages of So (Bandiagara), Sadhia Pheul (Bankass) and Djominati (Bankass), outside of Mopti.
