United Nations and Secretary-General Receive Nobel Peace Prize

The United Nations and its Secretary-General, Kofi Annan, today received the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway, on the 100th anniversary of the prestigious award.
Secretary-General holds the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to UN and himself, as the organization's Secretary-General. At left is Gunnar Berge, Chairman of the Nobel Committee, who presented the award.
