Farming for Development: College of Agriculture and Forestry

With help from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) under the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the Government has established the College of Agriculture and Forestry, among other things, to train the necessary personnel and to conduct agricultural research in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture.
Under the supervision of an FAO expert (left) a trainee is getting ready to spray guava trees with insecticide at the farm of College of Agriculture and Forestry near Monrovia. [1974]
