Second Session of UN Conference on Trade and Development
The UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is holding its second session in New Delhi from 1 February to 25 March. About 1,400 representatives of the 132 States members of UNCTAD are participating. In addition, the specialized agencies and various bodies of the UN system and some 28 intergovernmental and 17 non-governmental organizations have sent observers. Under a 19-point provisional agenda, the Conference is reviewing a wide range of major problems of world trade and development.
