Secretary-General Arrives in New Delhi
Secretary-General U Thant left New York on 7 September for Rawalpindi and New Delhi to hold talks with Pakistani and Indian leaders on the implementation of two Security Council resolutions, calling for an immediate cease-fire in the entire area of the conflict between India and Pakistan.
