Pan American Sanitary Bureau and WHO Meet to Consider Regional Health Programmes
The Fifteenth Session of the Directive Council of the joint Pan American Sanitary Bureau and the World Health Organization Regional Office for the Americas met from 31 August to 11 September in Mexico City. The meeting considered plans to eradicate tuberculosis and other communicable diseases from the Americans, discussed studies on mortality and recent developments in national health programmes, among other things.
