Training Pakistani in the Use of Heavy Earth-moving Equipment
ILO technical assistance expert E.A. McDonald (United Kingdom) went to Pakistan to help the Government of Sind in the Training of operators and maintenance mechanics for heavy earth-moving equipment at a training centre set up near Hyderabad. Theoretical classes and workshop exercises are held at the Centre, on-the-job field training is given on the site of the Kotri dam, now under construction. Mr. McDonald has 26 pupils in the school, and 21 in the field.
