Memorial Ceremony at U.N. Headquarters for the Late Dag Hammarskjold and Member of His Party

A memorial ceremony for the late Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjold and those who died with him was held this afternoon in the General Assembly Hall at United Nations Headquarters, with the participation of the Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Eugene Ormandy, and the Temple University Choir, directed by Robert E. Page. Eulogies were delivered by the President of the current session of the General Assembly and by the Chairman of the United Nations Staff Committee.
