Pine Forests Survey in Honduras

Some 3,000 square miles of pins forests are under survey in Honduras by the Government with the help of experts from the Food and Agriculture Organization. The survey is to help determine the development and management of the forest resources. The United Nations Special Fund has contributed $422,300 to match the counterpart funds of the Honduras Government in financing the project which is expected to be completed by 1965.
