Setting the Stage for UN's Paris Assembly

At the same time in Paris the conversion of the Palais de Chaillot into UN Assembly Headquarters is proceeding at a fast pace.
The Palais, a crescent-shaped group of five museums, facing the River Seine and the Eiffel Tower, was offered to the UN for conference purposes by the French Government which undertook to bear the conversion expenses.
