Security Council Meets on Membership Question

Sir Leslie Munro (right), of New Zealand, President of the U.N. Security Council, exchanging a few words with Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjold, today at U.N. Headquarters, before calling to order a meeting of the Council. The Council met to consider two proposals on the admission of 18 new members to the United Nations.
